The Rise of Eve

The Rise of Eve

At the rise of eve’s nocturnal moon
I will not appear on earthen ground
but be buried deep within,
tending to the silence.

I will be someplace where nothing goes,
except for the grace of nature’s design
that grasps the brilliant threads
of a dreaming heart.

Lured and caressed like a lover’s hand
is where I’ll turn around and be found.
In the center of an intimate dream,
lost between foolishness and wisdom.

Here I will savor the deepening,
the reflected beauty from an eternal pool
that’s grand and self-contained
from being in tune with an inner nature.

Where, a colorful landscape spreads
and carries me swiftly to the blessings.
A sweetness that adds dignity to my dreams
and where love fills my soul with gentle ease.
