Day Four of Raw Work

Tuscany Vineyard Rev4

Now we’re painting! Today’s work is the beginning of details. It’s still very raw and the details are still too early in development to completely know the finished painting. However, it’s the brushes and paint (oils) that are now adding depth and richer color. The touch of light is usually added at this stage — whether it is the sunlight or moonlight, it’s brought in so that it guides me where to paint lighter.  I continue using Corel Painter X oil brushes and tomorrow may switch to a few other brushes that complement and add to the painting.

  1. This is so exciting…seeing it developing like this. It’s like watching a Polaroid picture as it cooks so-to-speak.

  2. Hi, Genece! You are such an artistic woman!! I love seeing this piece you’re working on develop into a very amazing painting…
