You have a beautiful, peaceful site, truly a sanctuary of stillness. If you would like to enter a stillness poem in my newly announced poetry contest, please feel deeply invited to do so (no cost to enter). If I have enough good entries, I'd like to publish a book of meditation/mindfulness poetry (with authors' permission). More information on my site at www.spiritfirst.org. Thank you for who you are and what you do...

"Holy Relationships", according to A Course In Miracles (p. 389 second edition), serve the same purpose as other very long roads to the goal of achieving holy instants, but with the benefit of saving time. Some reach Atonement the extremely difficult way of fighting against their own sin. Others spend a lifetime of contemplation and long periods of meditation aimed at detachment from the body. The purpose of a holy relationship is the same and it is a means of saving time.

For me a holy relationship is a direct path to union with my Brother, and one in which I can live actively in the world.

This path saves time but it is very difficult. It means knowing that you are complete, leaving all guilt behind, not being either a victim or a victimizer, and not seeking to take or get anything from the other person.

What counts is the choice to have a holy relationship and to stay in the process of Atonement, the process of correcting your own mind with the help of The Holy Spirit.

Blessings

Dear new friend of www.futureprimitive.org

Another great interview-podcast. This time a interesting gaialogue with with Miriam Sagan

Miriam Sagan is the author of over twenty books, including a memoir, Searching for a Mustard Seed : A Young Widow’s Unconventional Story (Winner best Memoir from Independent Publishers, 2004). Her poetry includes Rag Trade, The Widow’s Coat, and The Art of Love.
In this interview she talks about literature as defiance, community, and her experience of writing in close relationship to Nature, among other topics...
