Oh, this is brilliant!
Someone and her Muse certainly did work well together here
a.m.
Genece I refer to a song we sing at the end of Choir Practice each where ..My choir is called Solstice`.
Deep Stillness.
***************
For you deep stillness of the silent inland
for you, deep blue of the desert skies
for you, flame red of the rocks and stones
for you, sweet water from hidden springs
From the edges seek the heartlands
and when you’re burnt by the journey
may the cool winds of the hovering spirit
soothe and replenish you
in the name of Your God. (sing last line twice)
This was written by two young muscians in South Australia
and refers to the land in which they live perhaps the desert,or perhaps it could refer to Arizona where Vi and Ginger live
Words Jule Perrin
Music by Robin Mann …
PS And I cannot get the music I have tried…….it is in a music book and is owned by the Uniting Church in Australia………….

Good one, Genece. Fran
Great contrast, the serenity of the resting boats, and the wild, joyful froth of fuschia color! Kerry
The coloring is exquisite. Very lovely piece.
Gorgeous image, Genece. You have captured the flavor of the Orient. And Lois, your words are wonderfull…so expressive.

A lovely restful image and beautiful colouring. I love the gentle colours in the water.
What a lovely, peaceful image! I love the color reflection in the water, which makes the rest of the color look so spare and needed.
Hi Genece, Your work, as always, is stunning. Have you ever thought about using your art for book covers? I help people to write and publish books so I am always looking for unique forms of art that might work for a cover. I don’t have a need right this second, but I just wanted to make the inquiry, just in case the right project shows up. Also, please check out my new book. It just came out last week. It’s called, “The Power of Miracle Thinking,” and is available at http://www.miraclethinking.com and on Amazon. Love, Randy
